FAQs

  • I was published for the first time at 13 years old when my short story “Lost” won a contest and was included in a book called Creek Kids. Yes, I still have a copy and no, you absolutely cannot read it. 🙈

  • Because it’s amazing! I moved here for grad school in 2015 and never left. Now my husband and I (and our dog) have a house in Fox Park and enjoy cheering on St. Louis City SC, seeing shows at the Fox, biking around the city, hanging out in Forest Park, and taking advantage of our excellent food scene.

  • Two cheesy bean and rice burritos, hold the cheese. With about 25 packets of Diablo sauce.

  • In my spare time, you can often find me with a crochet hook or set of knitting needles and a pile of yarn. I find it both meditative and incredibly satisfying to be able to make useful, (sometimes) beautiful things with my own two hands.

  • I tried getting into skateboarding in 2023 and promptly broke my leg in three places. Suffice it to say, neither I nor my now-titanium leg will be getting on one of those death traps again.
